Hi! I'm Susan and I work with Children (ages 5+), Adolescents, Teenagers, Adults and Couples. Whether you’re hoping to manage anxiety, work through depression, navigate relationship challenges, manage school or work difficulties, or build stronger coping and self-care skills, I’m here to support you. My approach is integrative, warm, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. For kids I use therapeutic games, crafts, sand tray and other activities to teach coping skills and process challenges. For Couples, I am trained in Gottman Method and enjoy helping couples strengthen communication and build more connected, fulfilling relationships. I provide trauma informed care, along with supportive talk therapy, DBT, and CBT to help manage symptoms. Fluent in Spanish, I’m committed to serving our diverse community and increasing access to meaningful, culturally responsive care. My background includes working with children in Title I schools, as well as experience in group homes supporting individuals living with serious mental illness and addiction. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Hope International University and I invite you to reach out to explore how we can work together toward lasting growth and meaningful change.

Hello! I see Children (ages 5+), Teens and Adults and have over 6 years of counseling experience. If you are in crisis, experiencing anxiety, depression, having suicidal ideations, school or work problems, relationship issues, or have complex trauma, I can help. I am trained in EMDR for trauma/ptsd. I also use breathwork, CBT, DBT, IFS, and mindfulness based skills along with talk therapy. For kids I use games, art, and play therapy for expression and coping skills. Building rapport and connecting with clients has always been important to me in building a successful therapeutic relationship. It is my goal to make you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes to your life. Together we will come up treatment goals and work on improving whatever your life circumstances are. I obtained my Master in Social Work from Arizona State University and am dedicated to making sure that you get the care you deserve. I am looking forward to working with you.

Welcome! I work with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly and provide counseling for anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. I believe in walking with my clients through their difficult moments, building coping skills, and promoting a healthy mental health lifestyle. I have previously worked in corrections as a transitional counselor in a treatment community, a traveling therapist around the valley for clients in assisted living and group homes, and as a community mental health therapist. I completed my undergraduate education in Social Work at the University of Wyoming and my graduate degree in Social Work at Boise State University. I am looking forward to working with you.
