Hello, it’s nice to meet you! As your provider, I provide a warm, compassionate, and safe space for you to explore your unique challenges and begin the process of healing, self-acceptance, and growth. I work with Children, Teenagers and Adults who are dealing with neurodivergence, Autism, ADHD, body image and self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, depression, identity development, and the LGBTQ+ community. My commitment is to create a safe space where you can feel understood and empowered as we work together to accomplish your goals, increase your sense of hope and self-worth, stretch beyond your comfort zone, explore your true self, and embrace the growth process.
My treatment approaches include a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Art Therapy, Mindfulness, Strength-Based Therapy, and Talk Therapy. I believe in the power of creativity and self-expression to help facilitate healing. I personalize each therapeutic activity to support your journey and individual goals based on your life experiences, comfortability, and autonomy. I aim to help you discover your presence and resilience, equipping you with the tools to lead a more fulfilling and independent life.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Northern Arizona University. I have experience working in schools, community mental health centers, emergency shelters, and equine therapy ranches. It would be my pleasure to collaborate with you in your journey toward healing, and searching for a therapist is the first step in accomplishing these goals. I look forward to supporting you as you uncover the joy and strength already within you!
Welcome! I believe everyone at every age and stage has the power within for self-growth and healing, and I am ready to walk that path with you. I work with teenagers and adults and use a combination of talk-based (such as unlearning negative self-speech) and somatic body-based (things like grounding to calm the body) interventions to address issues holistically while respecting your authority and expertise on your lived experiences. I primarily work with early/complex trauma, adult autism and ADHD, the LGBTQIA+ community, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal relationship struggles. I have worked within community mental health agencies, the local public school system, and an inpatient facility, and I have lived experience as a full-time caregiver, a member of the queer community, and an Air Force veteran. I strive to facilitate a safe, anti-racist, queer-allied, collaborative, accessible space, and I welcome feedback on how I can help make therapy accessible for you. Reaching out is the first step, I look forward to hearing from you!
