Welcome! Taking the time to look for support isn't always easy, and I'm honored you're here. I love connecting with people, and I hope that comes through as you get to know me. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, and faith transitions, and I have a special passion for supporting mothers through the emotional realities of parenthood. My path here has been varied: I've worked with adults and adolescents in intensive outpatient care, as a school social worker at the junior high and elementary level, and in higher education with young adults. A lot of what drives this work comes from my own experiences with anxiety, ADHD, parenthood, and a faith transition. I draw on CBT, DBT, and solution-focused approaches, tailored to what works best for you. My goal is to see life through your lens and offer real, practical support as you find your way forward. I earned my Bachelor's in Family & Human Development and Master's in Social Work from Arizona State University. I also hold a Master's degree in Communication from Purdue University.

Thomas Vessey III, LAC

Hello! I’m Thomas, a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in Arizona and a therapist for teens, young adults, and men. Many men grow up feeling like they need to handle everything on their own, but ignoring stress, past pain, or emotional overwhelm only works for so long. I provide men’s mental health counseling in Arizona for clients who want a straightforward, practical approach to therapy. Sessions with me are real, honest, and focused on understanding what’s underneath the patterns that keep repeating. Whether you feel stuck, disconnected, shut down, or constantly under pressure, therapy can help you make sense of it and start responding differently. I use DBT, REBT, and EMDR to help clients strengthen coping skills, manage emotions, challenge negative beliefs, and build healthier ways of moving through life. My work often focuses on anxiety, trauma, self-worth, relationships, and stress in a way that feels grounded and useful.  While my work is centered on supporting men’s mental health and trauma, I welcome anyone who feels that my approach resonates with them. If you’re ready to stop carrying everything by yourself, I’m here to help. I went to school in Columbia SC, earning a Masters in Counseling from Columbia International University.

Welcome! I work with children, teenagers, adults, couples and families. I specialize in helping with self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationships, grief, trauma, self harming, suicidal ideations, communication, and emotional dysregulation. My therapeutic approach is centered around meeting you where you are at and helping guide you through where you want to grow. I have spent much of my career in community crisis response where I have provided immediate support during some of the most traumatic events people experience. I believe this gives me a unique ability to understand the human experience on a deeper level and influences how I can support you in your healing journey.  I utilize CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and solution focused

interventions. I received both my bachelors and masters in Social Work from Northern Arizona University. I look forward to working with you.

Hello! if you're a teenager or adult seeking a space where you feel valued and witnessed with compassion while exploring the potential that exists within you for growth, I would love to get to meet you! I believe that it is vital to hold a curious and supportive role while having a strongly collaborative relationship to foster healing both inside and outside of our space. I find that in our time it's important to acknowledge the impacts of the past, external conditions, systemic issues, and much more. Simultaneously, I aim to encourage clients to rewrite stories/narratives around the present moment in a way that is meaningful and empowering for them.  Overall, I have the most experience with concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal conflict, and family/relationship challenges. I tailor my therapy for what is effective for each client, but generally implement interventions that are based on compassion, parts-work, psychodynamic, somatic/mindfulness, and multicultural approaches.

If you could fast-forward a few months, what would you want to be different?  I support children,  teens and adults who feel stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or impacted by trauma, and who are seeking a safe, collaborative space to heal in a way that feels grounded.  I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and EMDR, with a strong focus on building internal safety, emotional regulation, and grounding. I prioritize understanding your story and window of tolerance before moving into deeper processing, allowing healing to happen at a pace that feels supportive and empowering.  As a first-generation immigrant and college graduate, I understand the emotional complexity of holding multiple identities and responsibilities. I feel passionate about working with teens and adults from all walks of life, including Spanish-speaking clients, refugees, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.  My approach integrates EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, mindfulness, and creative interventions. At the core of my work, I believe healing happens within a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship—one where you feel heard, understood, and supported.  Everyone’s healing journey looks different. I am here to witness and support you as you build self-esteem and self-compassion, learn to navigate anxiety and depression, move through life transitions and grief, and work toward living a values-based life. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Northern Arizona University and have experience working in schools, community mental health, and with unaccompanied refugee minors. If you feel ready to explore healing in a safe and grounded way, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Welcome!  I specialize in couples counseling using EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), sex addiction, pornography addiction, and betrayal trauma.  I've guided many couples through the painful aftermath of betrayal trauma, witnessing remarkable transformations through Emotionally Focused Therapy as they rebuild trust and connection. In our sessions, we create a safe space where both partners can express their deepest hurts without judgment, helping the injured partner articulate their needs while supporting the partner who caused harm in developing genuine accountability. What I find most inspiring about this work is watching couples rediscover their deep care for one another beneath layers of hurt, often emerging with relationships that are actually stronger and more intimate than before. Recovery takes time and courage from both partners, but please know that healing is possible with proper support.    With sincere empathy drawn from personal struggle and loss, I support my clients by giving them tools to help them find healing.  I want you to feel understood, seen, and valued!
