Mesa Counselors

Candace Wilson, LMSW

Hello! I am an experienced therapist that works with children, adolescents/teenagers and adults.  I treat depression, anxiety, complex trauma, strained relationships (child-parent and partners), PTSD, substance use disorder, and low self-esteem. My approach depends on what is in your best interest and comfort level. I follow solution-focused and evidence-based practices using CBT, DBT, and EMDR. I embrace the uniqueness of each person I encounter and hold myself to a high level of ethics with respect for those I serve in their environment and culture.   Life is complicated, and when you hit a roadblock in your personal growth, or when past traumas hold you back, I can help you address those barriers so you can heal and be the best you.   I can assist in replacing maladaptive behaviors with positive behaviors.  I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Arizona State University. I approach people with a smile and warmth.
