We all have tough times and it's necessary to have someone we can go to that will allow us to talk out our problems, lean in and listen, and provide empathy, validation and guidance.
We can teach you any of the four aspects of DBT which include: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Distress Tolerance.
EMDR is used to treat anything from your past that continues to be significantly distressing in your current life. It also helps you manage present moment stressors and any future concerns or worries.
We help you explore how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected. Focus is on changing your negative patterns.
Focuses on connecting with and healing the younger parts of oneself shaped by childhood experiences.
Both are used as an intervention in Couples Counseling. Couples see significant improvement in their relationships with these approaches.
Therapeutic activities, expressive arts, sand tray , toys and games to promote healing.
Helps clients understand, accept and integrate their parts which leads to healing.
An approach that helps clients regulate their nervous system in response to stress.
We provide space for processing any thoughts or memories that come up after receiving Ketamine treatment through a medical doctor.
For clients who report suicidal ideation, we can do a further assessment and patient safety plan to help ensure safety.
With over 20 years of mental health counseling experience, working with children, teenagers and adults, in various settings, I decided to start a group practice in the summer of 2021. We continue to grow as being one of the leading mental health outpatient counseling practices in the valley. I ensure that all of my counselors on my team feel as though they are completely supported and equipped with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to provide a high level of care to all clients we serve. The practice is held to a high standard both professionally and ethically. We would gladly welcome you to begin with us. I hold a Bachelor's in Psychology from Purdue University and in 2007 I graduated with my Master's in Social Work from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. I am a Clinical Supervisor through the AZBBHE.
