Mara Hofmann, LMSW

Hello! I am a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Arizona and have been practicing counseling for over 14 years.  My passion is working with children, adolescence, adults and families.  I specialize in helping with depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, anger, self esteem, peer and family relationships, social skills, stress, boundaries, parenting skills, gender identity and sexual orientation, work and school challenges and life changes.  I have advanced training and certification in working with the LGBTQ+ community and I am a gender affirming therapist. 

I have provided counseling services in a variety of different settings including residential housing, homeless outreach, partial hospitalization, Department of Child Safety, child crisis hospitalization, and in a group practice.

Treatment methods that I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My therapy approach is used to empower, motivate, educate, and support individuals and families in a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere.

I graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, with my Masters degree in Social Work.  

Availability: I am available to meet Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10:00am-6:00pm through telehealth.

Session Cost:    I accept BCBS and Aetna insurances. The cash rate is $150 for a 50-minute session.
